Aatos gained the interest of three FiBAN investor members by a virtual pitch at FiBAN Pitch Finland Online. 200 000 euros of funding was secured for the digital legal service provider.

Aatos develops an online service where individuals can solve their legal matters with automation without a lawyer. At the moment 6% of all wills made in Finland are done through Aatos service.

Aatos was pitching at FiBAN Pitch Finland online event and was able to attract investors with their pitch given virtually. After the pitch, all startups have an online meeting room where Aatos already secured their first investors from FIBAN.

“My interest in Aatos came immediately when I saw them at FiBAN deal flow. I have recognized that the law sector has not developed from the perspective of digitalization and I could see myself using this service. All the conversations I have had with the team and other investor has happened online and I have not yet met the team in person. Making an investment during corona times is completely doable.”
 -Otso Laakkonen, FiBAN member.

Three FiBAN members including Otso Laakkonen, and Heikki Väänänen joined the round as investors. The valuation of the round was 1MEUR and Aatos raised a total of 200 000 euros of funding.

”Aatos was seeking funding to rapidly grow a successful business model. Investor involvement is important to quick start our domestic and international expansion.” -sais Aatos CEO Aku Pöllänen.
