Remember the Nordic Angel Program? After a successful two-year program we are introducing its sister project a new Nordic cross-border investment and training program: New Nordic Lift Off. Who is it for? What does it mean? How can I get involved? To learn more, read on.

New Nordic Liftoff (NNLO) is the finest lead angel training and investment program for business angels. The goal of this program is to share angel investments’ best practices by educating more lead angels, increase the investment readiness of startups via high-quality training and mentoring, and to inspire cross-border investments in high-tech startups by bringing all startup ecosystem’s key players together.

This two and a half-year program is put together by two angel networks: FiBAN and EstBAN and is fueled by Central Baltic Interreg. Together we are training startups across the gulf, so both markets are better prepared to invest together cross-border. We want to deepen the great collaboration that we already have and build a program that can be replicated in any country.

One of the main goals of the program is to create more investment-ready startups. To achieve this goal, we will organize startup training sessions for the most promising applicants. At the end of each round, carefully selected startups will have the opportunity to attend startup bootcamp and pitch their ideas for investors. By training and mentoring startups, investors will have access to curated investment opportunities.

For angel investors, this program offers also many other opportunities such as high-quality lead angel training and study trips together with program participants. All program participants, approved angel investors, will get free access to both our in-person FIBAN Academy training and our updated FiBAN Academy online ‘Lead Angel Track’ that will be launched in November. As a part of the program, we will connect all the lead angels through our ‘finest lead angel club’ with its inclusive networking dinners.
