Founders’ experiences on the New Nordic Leads program

June 09, 2021

In May, the top-10 startups of New Nordic Leads Batch 2 pitched in front of potential investors with some of the pitches resulting now in ongoing investor discussions. Before jumping into the next steps of the program (Due-Diligence training on June 9th), it’s time to share some founder experiences on the program!

Already two startup batches and a total of 66 startups have participated in the New Nordic Leads startup investment readiness program by FiBAN and EstBAN. We asked the founders about their experiences on the program and how it has helped them on their growth journey.

“In the New Nordic Leads program, we were hoping to receive honest and objective insights from the personal investor-mentors. We got exactly that and in addition their interest to co-lead and join the round themselves! The program was organized with remarkable precision and extremely well put together – no fluff whatsoever.”
Kelly Lilles, Co-founder and CEO at ALPA Kids

“The structure and quality of speakers was a pleasant surprise and gave a good overview even before we had started the program. Mentors were really up to their game and gave good insights into the process as well as into our presentation and overall storyline. It’s great as a startup to get “more than just an online portal” and to get hands-on mentoring and support from the investors of FiBAN and EstBAN.”
Janne Lohvansuu, Founder and CEO at Doohlabs

Having a mentor helping to review your company with fresh eyes and experience and uncovering the good, the bad, and the ugly is the best help you can get to improve your startup.”
– Aristo Togliatti, Founder and CEO at LOOP
