Doctors have a lot of know-how they can provide to an early-stage startup, both as advisors and investors. The new possibility of startups to get in touch with doctors is a great step forward in bringing the medical community closer to the innovative startup ecosystem. All parties in this project are very eager to further develop this service and strengthen the field of healthcare innovation in Finland. The Finnish Medical Association (FMA) is a professional organization of which almost all doctors practising in Finland are members, so it is an ideal organisation to take on this challenge. The work will continue in close cooperation with the startup ecosystem, and the first version of the service can be accessed through FMAs startup page.
