Here is a list of successful angel funding rounds that were closed during the second half of 2021. Have a look! Note that the list is not comprehensive and only consists of publicly announced funding rounds.
Estonian edtech Alpakids closed a pre-seed round of €220K to expand in India. Alpakids develops early education e-learning games in less spoken languages.
Finland-based fitness and wellness app for freelancers, StepOut, raised 158k€ for expanding to India. The round included several FIBAN members and was led by FiBAN chair Reima Linnavirta.
Helsinki-based startup Monzuun raised its first investment round to develop and scale its automatic software & platform for monitoring and optimizing customer interaction in call centers and outbound calling.
FormeTampere-based startup Polar Night Energy raised a half-million round. The company designs and builds heat storage for renewable energy
StemSight, a blindness curing company, raised a 500K€ seed round led by Finnish deep-tech VC Voima Ventures.
Beauty and wellness service app MAJ raised a successful funding round with FiBAN members on board.
Financial comparison super app Jeff raised 1,5M$ seed extension round including existing and new FiBAN members on board.
AI-powered roster scheduling app for healthcare raised 150K€ from several FiBAN members.
Formerly angel-packed Innomost raised a 5M€ round led by Metsä Spring Ltd. The company produces biodegradable and renewable ingredients from the Finnish birch.
