Antti Viitanen appointed as FiBAN’s new deal flow manager

The FiBAN office is excited to welcome Antti Viitanen as the new Deal Flow Manager! Antti will join the team on the 28th of October 2019. Antti has an extensive background in sparring with startups and building events from scratch, among other things, thus bringing with him great know-how and experience to the team. Welcome to FiBAN, Antti!
For the past 5 years Antti has been working in developing startup culture in Kymenlaakso region. His main work has been about organizing *ship Startup Festival event. Antti has been working under Xamk – South Eastern University of Applied Sciences at the RDI department of creative industries. In addition to organizing *ship Antti has been involved in different project work in developing, writing and executing projects, mostly about regional entrepreneurship development.
Antti has graduated as a product designer in 2011 and started his first company in 2012. In 2013 Antti took part to in his first Slush event which turned his professional interest towards startup entrepreneurship. Since 2014 Antti has been organizing acceleration programs, incubation programs, hackathons, startup events, etc.
In his free time Antti likes to spend time with his family and friends. His favorite travel location is Italy and preferable sport is football. You can spot Antti with his headphones on and most likely he is listening to podcasts or audiobooks about entrepreneurship or leadership.
