FiBAN aims to support the Finnish startup ecosystem by harnessing the opportunities that the “new normal” era brings in investing and networking in the remote mode. As the startups continue building new digital solutions that help solving problems, FiBAN aims at supporting their journey by showcasing them to wider audiences. For investors, this brings unique opportunities to spread their wings wider and spot hidden gems all over Finland.

One example of this kind of a gem is Whiteboard.fi, a company that was founded in Raasepori in 2016. It pitched its digital whiteboard solution to investors in a small pitching event organized in the Castle of Raasepori in 2020. After less than a year of commercialization and rapid growth, the business was acquired by Kahoot.fi providing FiBAN angels with a successful exit (read more).

FiBAN Pitch Western Finland May 4th – startups apply now!

Next, FiBAN is combining forces with three cities: Tampere, Pori & Turku to organize FiBAN Pitch Western Finland  – event showcasing the smartest startups in the area, boosting the growth of the region, and enabling the next success stories of the region to find their first or next investment.

Application period for startups is open now. A total of nine companies will be chosen to pitch in front of FiBAN investors!
